The Prostate is a peer-reviewed journal dedicated to original studies of this organ and the male accessory glands. It serves as an international medium for these studies, presenting comprehensive coverage of clinical, anatomic, embryologic, physiologic, endocrinologic, and biochemical studies.

Protein Science serves as an international forum for publishing original reports on proteins in the broadest sense. The Journal aims to unify this field by cutting across established disciplinary lines and focusing on #!#!protein-centered#!#! science.

PROTEINS : Structure, Function, and Bioinformatics publishes original reports of significant experimental and analytic research in all areas of protein research: structure, function, computation, genetics, and design. The journal encourages reports that present new experimental or computational approaches for interpreting and understanding data from biophysical chemistry, structural studies of proteins and macromolecular assemblies, alterations of protein structure and function engineered through techniques of molecular biology and genetics, functional analyses under physiologic conditions, as well as the interactions of proteins with receptors, nucleic acids, or other specific ligands or substrates. Research in protein and peptide biochemistry directed toward synthesizing or characterizing molecules that simulate aspects of the activity of proteins, or that act as inhibitors of protein function, is also within the scope of PROTEINS. In addition to full-length reports, short communications (usually not more than 4 printed pages) and prediction reports are welcome. Reviews are typically by invitation; authors are encouraged to submit proposed topics for consideration. Proteins is bringing web-based technology to bear to speed and simplify the entire publication process. Proteins now offers online submission and peer review and encourages electronic submission of manuscripts, which expedites the review process. Proteins is pleased to announce that online access to the full-text content of all Structure Notes is freely available to all nonsubscribing users , commencing 2003. Structure Notes, first launched in 1999, are one-to-two-page articles describing a novel protein structure of unknown function and/or those with recurring topology. PROTEOMICS is the premier international source for information on all aspects of applications and technologies in proteomics. It provides the most comprehensive coverage in the field, spanning significant technical developments in all major gel and non-gel based proteomic platforms and their application in every area of life sciences. Papers describing novel applications of proteomics are especially welcome. Topics include whole proteome analysis of any organism, expression profiling, disease studies, pharmaceutical, agricultural and biotechnological applications, and analysis of cellular systems, organelles and protein complexes. PROTEOMICS - Clinical Applications has developed into a key source of information in the field of applying proteomics to the study of human disease and translation to the clinic. Psychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences is published bimonthly by the Japanese Society of Psychiatry and Neurology as its official journal. The journal publishespapers in all fields of psychiatry and related neurosciences in the following categories: Review Articles, Regular Articles, Short Communications and Letters to the Editor. All manuscripts, except abstracts or proceedings of relevant scientific meetings, will be peer reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers, an Editorial Board Member and the Editor. Psycho-Oncology is concerned with the psychological, social, behavioral, and ethical aspects of cancer. This subspeciality addresses the two major psychological dimensions of cancer: the psychological responses of patients to cancer at all stages of the disease, and that of their families and caretakers; and the psychological, behavioral and social factors that may influence the disease process. Psycho-oncology is an area of multi-disciplinary interest and has boundaries with the major specialities in oncology: the clinical disciplines (surgery, medicine, pediatrics, radiotherapy), epidemiology, immunology, endocrinology, biology, pathology, bioethics, palliative care, rehabilitation medicine, clinical trials research and decision making, as well as psychiatry and psychology. This international journal is published twelve times a year and will consider contributions to research of clinical and theoretical interest. Topics covered are wide-ranging and relate to the psychosocial aspects of cancer and AIDS-related tumors, including: epidemiology, quality of life, palliative and supportive care, psychiatry, psychology, sociology, social work, nursing and educational issues. Special reviews are offered from time to time. There is a section reviewing recently published books. A society news section is available for the dissemination of information relating to meetings, conferences and other society-related topics. Summary proceedings of important national and international symposia falling within the aims of the journal are presented.

Psychogeriatrics is an international journal sponsored by the Japanese Psychogeriatric Society and publishes peer-reviewed original papers dealing with all aspects of psychogeriatrics and related fields The Journal encourages articles with gerontopsychiatric, neurobiological, genetic, diagnostic, social-psychiatric, health-political, psychological or psychotherapeutic content. Themes can be illuminated through basic science, clinical (human and animal) studies, case studies, epidemiological or humanistic research.

Psychology & Marketing (P&M) publishes original research and review articles dealing with the application of psychological theories and techniques to marketing. As an interdisciplinary journal, P&M serves practitioners and academicians in the fields of psychology and marketing and is an appropriate outlet for articles designed to be of interest, concern, and applied value to its audience of scholars and professionals. Manuscripts that use psychological theory to better understand the various aspects of the marketing of products and services are appropriate for submission. P&M fosters the exploration of marketing phenomena spanning the entire spectrum of offerings (products & services), price, promotion (advertising, publicity, public relations, and personal selling), place (channels and distribution), and politics (public opinion, law, and ethics), all revolving around the individual and collective psyche of consumers. Manuscripts may be conceptual or empirical in nature, and feature quantitative and/or qualitative analysis. Manuscripts may deal with business-to-consumer, business-to-business, and not-for-profit business and organizational issues. Psychology in the Schools, which is published eight times per year, is a peer-reviewed journal devoted to research, opinion, and practice. The journal welcomes theoretical and applied manuscripts, focusing on the issues confronting school psychologists, teachers, counselors, administrators, and other personnel workers in schools and colleges, public and private organizations. Preferences will be given to manuscripts that clearly describe implications for the practitioner in the schools.

Since its founding in 1949, Public Administration and Development (PAD) has been reviewing and assessing the practice of public administration at the local, regional, national and international levels where it is directed to managing development processes in low and medium income countries. It gives special attention to investigations of the management of all phases of public policy formulation and implementation which have an interest and importance beyond a particular government and state. PAD has a particular interest in the link between public administration practice and management research and provides a professional and academic forum for reporting on new experiences and experiments. PAD also publishes articles on development management research in the NGO sector. It is widely read by academics and practitioners alike, including consultants, donors and policy advisers. With its case study approach, it is also frequently used for teaching and training purposes.

Public Health Nursing aims to provide worldwide access to timely research and practice features of use to public health nurses, administrators, and educators in the field of public health nursing.
