The Journal of Agrarian Change is the leading journal of agrarian political economy. Each issue of the JAE contains articles, notes and book reviews as well as information relating to the Agricultural Economics Society. Published 3 times a year, it is received by members and institutional subscribers in 69 countries. With contributions from leading international scholars, the JAE is a leading citation for agricultural economics and policy. Published articles either deal with new developments in research and methods of analysis, or apply existing methods and techniques to new problems and situations which are of general interest to the Journal’s international readership.

The effects of stress on crop production of agricultural cultivated plants will grow to paramount importance in the 21st century, and the Journal of Agronomy and Crop Science aims to make a contribution to understanding these challenges. In this context, stress refers to extreme conditions under which crops and forages grow. The journal publishes original papers, short communications, reviews, and book reviews on the general and special science of abiotic plant stress. Specific topics addressed include: Drought, including water-use efficiency, Chemical Constraints, such as salinity and acid soils, Extreme temperatures as heat, cold and chilling stress limit the cultivation of crops, Flooding and oxidative stress, mineral deficiency and toxicity stress and means of restricting them. The Journal will give preference to scientific articles on plant stress highlighting these subsections. Particular regard is given to application-oriented basic research and applied research. Journal of Analytical Methods in Chemistry (formerly titled Journal of Automated Methods and Management in Chemistry) publishes original research articles as well as review articles related to the use of analytical methods in chemistry with particular emphasis on automation and mechanization in analytical, clinical, and industrial environments.

Journal of Anatomy publishes original papers, invited review articles and book reviews. Its main focus is on contributions to understanding development, evolution and function through a broad range of anatomical approaches. Articles covering bioinformatics and other topics that clarify or provide tools for functional anatomical understanding will also be sympathetically considered. Priority will be given to experimental studies, to contributions based on molecular and cell biology, and on the application of modern functional imaging techniques. Studies that are essentially descriptive anatomy will only be published if the Editors consider that they are of functional significance. Journal of Anatomy also publishes Brief Communications: these are brief papers (up to 3 journal pages) that present new ideas or data of particular originality and timeliness. The editors will also consider publishing Letters (1-2 pages) on scientific issues of clear relevance to the scope of interest of the Journal.

The journal publishes original articles by international scientists on the progress of research in animal production, quantitative genetics, biology, and evolution of domestic animals. Researchers, teachers, and the animal breeding industry will find the reports of interest. Book reviews appear in many issues. The Journal of Applied Clinical Medical Physics (JACMP) is an applied journal, which publishes papers that will help clinical medical physicists perform their responsibilities more effectively and efficiently for the increased benefit of the patient. The journal was established in 2000 and is an open access journal published quarterly.

The Journal of Applied Econometrics is an international journal published bi-monthly, plus 1 additional issue (total 7 issues). It aims to publish articles of high quality dealing with the application of existing as well as new econometric techniques to a wide variety of problems in economics and related subjects, covering topics in measurement, estimation, testing, forecasting, and policy analysis. The emphasis is on the careful and rigorous application of econometric techniques and the appropriate interpretation of the results. The economic content of the articles is stressed. A special feature of the Journal is its emphasis on the replicability of results by other researchers. To achieve this aim, authors are expected to make available a complete set of the data used as well as any specialised computer programs employed through a readily accessible medium, preferably in a machine-readable form. The use of microcomputers in applied research and transferability of data is emphasised. The Journal also features occasional sections of short papers re-evaluating previously published papers. The intention of the Journal of Applied Econometrics is to provide an outlet for innovative, quantitative research in economics which cuts across areas of specialisation, involves transferable techniques, and is easily replicable by other researchers.
