The Journal of Neuroradiology is well established among other journals in the fields of neuroradiology, radiology and clinical neurosciences that provide precise and rigorous information on diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology. Indeed, the Journal offers an opportunity to submit original articles, reviews, technical notes and letters to the editors (correspondence section) in English language provided that the methodology and scientific content are of good quality, and that the results will have substantial clinical impact and/or physiological importance. Over the past three years, the impact factor of the Journal has been consistently above 1.000 (1.203 in 2010). The new Editorial Board will continue working to increase the impact of the Journal in the field of neuroradiology and, more generally, the clinical neurosciences. To further increase the Journal's impact and to make its full content even more widely accessible, the decision was taken to exclusively accept peer-reviewed papers in English from now on (see guide to authors). Considering English as the official language of the Journal of Neuroradiology means that contributions in the area of neuroradiology will be easily accessible to all neuroradiologists around the world. Another change is that case reports will no longer be accepted for publication from May 1st, 2012. However, as they may have an influence on our everyday clinical practices, a place will be provided for technical notes reporting on, for example, the improvement of currently used imaging sequences or new MR sequences, or novel approaches in the field of interventional neuroradiology. Nevertheless, to remain a major forum for the most up-to-date insights in the area of diagnostic and interventional neuroradiology, the Editorial team of the Journal of Neuroradiology invites you to submit on this website your high-quality and informative papers in order to make an important contribution to improve our clinical practice, and to communicate on novel concepts, methods and approaches.
The Journal of Neuroscience Nursing (JNN), the official journal of the American Association of Neuroscience Nurses, contains original articles on advances in neurosurgical and neurological techniques as they affect nursing care, theory and research, as well as commentary on the roles of the neuroscience nurse in the health care team. The journal provides information to nurses and health care professionals working in diverse areas of neuroscience patient care such as multi-specialty and neuroscience intensive care units, general neuroscience units, combination units (neuro/ortho, neuromuscular/rehabilitation, neuropsychiatry, neurogerontology), rehabilitation units, medical-surgical units, pediatric units, emergency and trauma departments, and surgery. The information is applicable to professionals working in clinical, research, administrative, and educational settings.JNN is a membership benefit to all AANN members. Founded in 1944, the AANS’s flagship journal is recognized throughout the world by neurosurgeons and related medical specialists for its authoritative and cutting-edge clinical and laboratory research articles, case reports, technical notes, review articles, and more. JNS is the most referenced journal specific to neurosurgery in publication, according to Clarivate’s Journal Citation Reports™.
This rapid-publication, open-access, online-only journal offers reports of single cases and small case series, with a focus on the lesson that the observation or experience provides to the reader. Journal of Neurosurgery: Case Lessons commenced publication in January 2021.
First published in 1999 as a quarterly supplement to the Journal of Neurosurgery, JNS: Spine quickly grew in volume and frequency, and became an independent monthly journal in 2004. JNS: Spine provides the latest techniques and research findings in the rapidly advancing area of spine surgery.
This journal keeps practitioners abreast of advances in neurosurgical anesthesiology that directly impact on current clinical practice or will affect clinical practice in the future--including new drugs, new equipment, and new procedures. Website: www.jnsa.com.
Journal of Neurotrauma publishes peer-reviewed articles on the latest advances in both the clinical and laboratory investigation of traumatic brain and spinal cord injury. Combining insights on both clinical and laboratory studies, the Journal focuses on the basic pathobiology of injury to the central nervous system, while considering preclinical and clinical trials targeted at improving both the early management and long-term care and recovery of traumatically injured patients.
The Journal of Nuclear Medicine (JNM) -- the flagship publication of SNM -- has once again been ranked the top medical imaging journal worldwide, according to new data released in the 2009 Journal Citation Reports -- published by Thomson Reuters. This is the second consecutive year in which JNM has taken the top spot.JNM -- a peer-reviewed, monthly publication -- earned an impact factor of 6.424 -- higher than other prominent journals in this category, such as Radiology, Human Brain Mapping and NeuroImage, as well as all of the nuclear medicine journals.
Published by the technologist section of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, the Journal of Nuclear Medicine Technology focuses entirely on the technology crucial to nuclear medicine. In peer-reviewed articles, every quarter the journal offers recent technically centered articles on imaging and instrumentation, radiopharmacy, quality assurance, radiation safety, and more. JNMT also serves as an invaluable continuing education tool, with teaching editorials, reviews of programs and certification updates, and continuing education articles.
