Neurología Argentina is the official Journal of the Argentine Neurological Society (Sociedad Neurología Argentina), affiliated to the World Neurology Foundation. Without a doubt, it is one of the most prestigious journals of the specialty in the Spanish language and covers topics related to neurology and neurosciences. Original articles, reviews and case reports are subject to peer review before publishing. It also contains Letters to the Editor and other sections which are dealt directly by the Editorial Committee. The Journal also contains a section, Continuing Medical Education Questions, which actively promotes the continuing education of the reader.

Neuropathology is an international journal sponsored by the Japanese Society of Neuropathology and publishes peer-reviewed original papers dealing with all aspects of human and experimental neuropathology and related fields of research. The aim of Neuropeptides is the rapid publication of original research and review articles, dealing with the structure, distribution, actions and functions of peptides in the central and peripheral nervous systems. The explosion of research activity in this field has led to the identification of numerous naturally occurring endogenous peptides which act as neurotransmitters, neuromodulators, or trophic factors, to mediate nervous system functions. Increasing numbers of non-peptide ligands of neuropeptide receptors have been developed, which act as agonists or antagonists in peptidergic systems.The journal provides a unique opportunity of integrating the many disciplines involved in all neuropeptide research. The journal publishes articles on all aspects of the neuropeptide field, with particular emphasis on gene regulation of peptide expression, peptide receptor subtypes, transgenic and knockout mice with mutations in genes for neuropeptides and peptide receptors, neuroanatomy, physiology, behaviour, neurotrophic factors, preclinical drug evaluation, clinical studies, and clinical trials.Original papers predominate. Manuscripts may be of any length, but must be complete studies; preliminary communications are not accepted. Review articles and hypothesis papers are welcomed, and will be evaluated in the same way as experimental papers. Authors intending to submit a review are advised to communicate their intentions to the Editor, to avoid possible duplication.

Organ of the 'Société française de psychiatrie de l'enfant et de l'adolescent', Neuropsychiatrie de l'enfance et de l'adolescence tackles all fields of child-adolescent psychiatry and offers a link between field and clinical work.As a reference and training tool for students and practitioners, the journal publishes original papers in child psychiatry as well as book reviews and conference reports.Each issue also offers a calendar of the main events dealing with the speciality.

Neuropsychological Rehabilitation publishes human experimental and clinical research related to rehabilitation, recovery of function, and brain plasticity. The journal is aimed at clinicians who wish to inform their practice in the light of the latest scientific research; at researchers in neurorehabilitation; and finally at researchers in cognitive neuroscience and related fields interested in the mechanisms of recovery and rehabilitation. The journal Neuroradiology publishes papers on neuroradiological diagnosis and treatment, the application of basic sciences to both, and the use of apparatus. Also presented is important information on normal neuroanatomy and those aspects of neurophysiology that affect radiology in its widest sense.The journal offers papers that give critical guidance on choosing techniques as well as those that describe new advances. CT is now of prime importance. Many older methods are still appropriate. Ultrasound, positron emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) are of growing significance.From time to time, the journal presents comprehensive review articles, invited or offered that are more purely didactic. Case reports describe examples of rarity or practical instructional content, as do single page case notes.

The Journal will consider for publication original articles and reviews on both basic science and clinical research relevant to recovery from neural injury. Examples of appropriate topics include cortical remodeling, mechanisms of sprouting and regeneration, the development of cell lines for transplantation and trophic factor replacement, strategies to promote functional recovery in human patients, design of outcome measures in neurologic rehabilitation, the multidisciplinary management of neurologic disease, and bioengineering and assistive devices used in the management of neurologic impairment.
