Papers on physics with no obvious medical or biological applications, or papers which are almost entirely clinical or biological in their approach are not acceptable.

The journal Physics of Particles and Nuclei Letters, brief name Particles and Nuclei Letters, publishes the articles with results of the new and original theoretical, experimental, scientific-technical, methodological and applied research. Subject matter of articles covers: theoretical physics, elementary particle physics, relativistic nuclear physics, nuclear physics and related problems in other branches of physics, neutron physics, condensed matter physics, physics and engineering at low temperatures, physics and engineering of accelerators, physical experimental instruments and methods, physical computation experiments, applied research in these branches of physics and radiology, ecology and nuclear medicine.

Physiologia Plantarumis an international journal committed to publishing the best full-length original research papers that advance our understanding of the primary physiological. molecular and genetic mechanisms governing plant development. growth and productivity; including plant interactions with the biotic and abiotic environment. The journal also publishes Minireviews and Technical Focus papers. with the aim of providing a forum for the exchange of information on recent breakthroughs and technical advances. The journal also welcomes submission of shorter breakthrough manuscripts containing novel. exciting but solidly underpinned research that merits rapid publication. The journal publishes papers on all aspects of all organizational levels of experimental plant biology ranging from molecular and cell biology. biochemistry and biophysics to ecophysiology and global change biology. Physiologia Plantarumalso publishes Minireviews and Technical Focus papers. with the aim of providing a forum for the exchange of information on recent breakthroughs and technical advances. REGULAR MANUSCRIPTS Regular manuscripts should present original hypothesis-driven research in one of the five subject areas covered by the journal (Biochemistry and Metabolism; Ecophysiology. Stress and Adaptation; Uptake. Transport and Assimilation; Development. Growth and Differentiation; Photobiology and Photosynthesis). The experiments described should address questions pertinent to the research topic and the outcomes should advance our understanding of the processes being studied. not simply repeat known results in a different species. MINIREVIEWS(Download guidelines in PDF format) Minireviews. which are subject to peer review. should cover the background of a topical research problem. emphasizing the state of the art and serving as a focal point for further research. They must be written concisely. with no more than 50 references and a maximum of 6 printed pages (one printed page of full text is equivalent to around 5600 characters. including spaces). Minireviews will be considered in all areas of experimental plant science and it is recommended that the Editor-in-Chief be contacted in advance to confirm the suitability of the chosen topic. TECHNICAL FOCUS The Technical Focus section is a forum for critical evaluations and syntheses of key technological approaches in plant physiology. including evaluations of limitations or pitfalls of techniques. The Editors invite contributions on topics of interest from recognized experts but also invite proposals from authors for Technical Focus manuscripts. The format is flexible to accommodate varying content.

Physiological Measurement publishes papers about the quantitative assessment and visualization of physiological function in clinical research and practice, with an emphasis on the development of new methods of measurement and their validation.

Papers are published on topics including:

• applied physiology in illness and health
• electrical bioimpedance, optical and acoustic measurement techniques
• advanced methods of time series and other data analysis
• biomedical and clinical engineering
• in-patient and ambulatory monitoring
• point-of-care technologies

• physiological modeling and simulation
• novel biomedical sensors, instruments, devices and systems
• measurement standards and guidelines.

The journal encourages publication of data and code as well as results.

Physiological Measurement is an interdisciplinary journal. Authors of each article are therefore asked to ensure that at least the title and abstract of their article are understandable to researchers in other disciplines and to supply suitable keywords as a concise method of describing its general research topic in both clinical and scientific terms.

Physiological Reports is an online, open access monthly journal that publishes peer-reviewed research across all areas of basic and translational physiology and allied disciplines. Case reports are acceptable, so long as they have a physiological focus, but Physiological Reports does not publish clinical trials. For further information, see the journal's full scope statement.

Physiological Reviews provides state of the art coverage of timely issues in the physiological and biomedical sciences. It appeals to physiologists, neuroscientists, cell biologists, biophysicists, and clinicians with special interest in pathophysiology. Topics are covered in a broad and comprehensive manner. These articles are very useful in teaching and research as they provide interesting, clearly written updates on important new developments.

The aim of Physiotherapy Theory and Practice is to provide an international, peer-reviewed forum for the publication, dissemination, and discussion of recent developments and current research in physiotherapy/physical therapy. Physiotherapy Theory and Practice; promotes post-basic education through reports, reviews, and updates on all aspects of physiotherapy and specialties relating to clinical physiotherapy.

Phytochemical Analysisis devoted to the publication of original articles concerning the development, improvement, validation and/or extension of application of analytical methodology in the plant sciences. The spectrum of coverage is broad, encompassing methods and techniques relevant to the detection (including bio-screening), extraction, separation, purification, identification and quantification of compounds in plant biochemistry, plant cellular and molecular biology, plant biotechnology, the food sciences, agriculture and horticulture. The Journal publishes papers describing significant novelty in the analysis of whole plants (including algae), plant cells, tissues and organs, plant-derived extracts and plant products (including those which have been partially or completely refined for use in the food, agrochemical, pharmaceutical and related industries). All forms of physical, chemical, biochemical, spectroscopic, radiometric, electrometric, chromatographic, metabolomic and chemometric investigations of plant products (monomeric species as well as polymeric molecules such as nucleic acids, proteins, lipids and carbohydrates) are included within the remit of the Journal. Papers dealing with novel methods relating to areas such as data handling/ data mining in plant sciences will also be welcomed. Phytochemical Analysisis intended to serve as a major resource for information on analytical and instrumental methodology in the plant sciences. Together with original articles and accelerated communications, all of which will be both timely and of interest to a wide readership, short review articles describing recent advances in specific areas of plant analysis will be published. Reviews are by invitation only, but the Editor-in-Chief welcomes suggestions for new review topics from potential authors.

Phytochemistry is the international journal of pure and applied plant chemistry, plant biochemistry and molecular biology, published 12 times per annum by Elsevier. The majority of these publications will be Regular Issues covering research on all aspects of pure and applied plant biochemistry, especially that which leads to a deeper understanding of the factors underlying the growth, development and metabolism of plants and the chemistry of plant constituents. Phytochemistry is a primary source for papers dealing with plant secondary compounds, especially with regard to their biosynthesis and diverse properties. Phytochemistry is the official organ of The Phytochemical Society of Europe and The Phytochemical Society of North America. The Journal is currently divided into several sections as indicated below, but papers which cut across these sections or which are on any other aspect of plant biochemistry will also be considered.

Phytomedicine is published to attract and disseminate innovative and expert findings in the fields of phytopharmacology, phytotherapy and phytotoxicology, as a reference source for researchers in these fields, and with the aim to set international standards in their methodology. The journal publishes research results on phytotherapy (clinical trials), phytopharmacology, pharmacognosy, standardization and phytotoxicology, obtained with plant extracts as well as isolated compounds from these extracts and phytopharmaceuticals. Phytomedicine is targeted towards papers of a practical nature. The papers published in this journal are also useful to drug regulatory authorities in deciding whether to approve certain phytomedicines or not.
