Published in association with the Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) Asia-Pacific Journal of Public Health (APJPH) is a peer-reviewed, quarterly journal that focuses on health issues in the Asia-Pacific Region. APJPH publishes original articles on public health related issues, including implications for practical applications to professional education and services for public health and primary health care that are of concern and relevance to the Asia-Pacific region.The editor-in-chief welcomes manuscripts on all aspects of public health, as well as global challenges in public health, emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, health security, disaster management, and chronic disease. The Asia-Pacific Journal of Sports Medicine, Arthroscopy, Rehabilitation and Technology (AP-SMART) is the official peer-reviewed, open access journal of the Asia-Pacific Knee, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Society (APKASS) and the Japanese Orthopaedic Society of Knee, Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine (JOSKAS). It is published quarterly, in January, April, July and October, by Elsevier.

The mission of AP-SMART is to inspire clinicians, practitioners, scientists and engineers to work towards a common goal to improve quality of life in the international community. The Journal publishes original research, reviews, editorials, perspectives, and letters to the Editor.

Multidisciplinary research with collaboration amongst clinicians and scientists from different disciplines will be the trend in the coming decades. AP-SMART provides a platform for the exchange of new clinical and scientific information in the most precise and expeditious way to achieve timely dissemination of information and cross-fertilization of ideas.

The information presented aims to provide a scientific yet practical approach to these five areas:

• Sports medicine—itself a field with cross-disciplinary dimensions, including sports traumatology, cardiology, endocrinology, accident and emergency medicine, physiology, biochemistry and biomechanics. Whilst each of these fields serves a specific domain, they all contribute importantly to the overall care of athletes.
• Arthroscopy—recent advances in skills and technology have driven arthroscopy to the forefront of surgical development in minimally invasive interventions for sports traumatology.
• Rehabilitation—an integral part of the overall management of sports trauma, comprising a comprehensive program of treatment with allied health professionals, performance optimization, preventive measures and outcome evaluation
• Sports technology—of vital importance to biomechanical and biological research in arthroplasty and sports medicine, allowing new ideas to be tested, developed and applied in the field. We aim to establish strong links between engineers, scientists, biomechanists and administrators involved with sports and sports technology.
• Reconstructive surgery of the knee, shoulder and ankle—including osteotomy, total joint replacement, minimally invasive and computer-assisted surgery. The Journal's section on upper limb is devoted to the advancement of the science and management of upper limb disorders, with particular relevance to sport-related conditions.

Asia-Pacific Psychiatry is an international psychiatric journal focused on the Asia and Pacific Rim region, and is the official journal of the Pacific Rim College of Psychiatrics. Asia-Pacific Psychiatry enables psychiatric and other mental health professionals in the region to share their research, education programs and clinical experience with a larger international readership. The journal offers a venue for high quality research for and from the region in the face of minimal international publication availability for authors concerned with the region. This includes findings highlighting the diversity in psychiatric behaviour, treatment and outcome related to social, ethnic, cultural and economic differences of the region. Asia-Pacific Review analyzes global political, economic, security, energy and environmental issues, with specific emphasis on the Asia-Pacific region, and aims to provide readers with excellent insights on a variety of crucial topics.Published twice a year, Asia-Pacific Review was launched in 1994 by the Institute for International Policy Studies (IIPS), an independent, non-profit research institute founded in Tokyo by former Prime Minister Yasuhiro Nakasone. Asian Affairs covers the whole region of Asia - the Middle East, Central Asia, South Asia, South East Asia and East Asia. The Journal has a multi-disciplinary approach, which includes social, political and historical perspectives as well as contemporary affairs.

Editions of Asian Affairs generally consist of articles on specific countries, locales or historical episodes. Some articles are based on lectures to the Society. These and others are the fruit of academic research or the experiences of contributors. Biographical pieces and accounts of archaeological and historical travel have also been published. The editor welcomes contributions which fall within the overall framework of the Journal.

Asian Affairs also still maintains its character as a journal for Society members, with reports of Society activities and tours.

A substantial section of each issue consists of book reviews of new publications. The editor encourages offers to review relevant titles.

Asian Affairs: An American Review addresses issues that significantly affect political, economic, and security policies in both domestic and international contexts. The audience includes scholars, policymakers, government officials, business executives, and others engaged in contemporary studies of Asian countries, intra-Asian relations, and America's ties with the Asian region.

AAOUJ is a peer-reviewed journal on new information, knowledge, evaluations of theories or best practices of Open and Distance Education (ODE). Published in association with Asian Association of Open Universities.

Asian Biomedicine (Research Reviews and News) is an international journal devoted to peer-reviewed contributions dealing with biomedical sciences from experimental to clinical aspects. The Journal publishes review articles, original articles, technical and clinical reports bimonthly.

Asian Business & Management (ABM) is an academic general management and business journal, that is, we are in principle open to all disciplines and fields of research on management and business-subject to the condition that submissions must be related to Asia. We especially encourage papers that draw on one of the various streams of the business systems literature, broadly conceived, to generate new insights into the societal embeddedness of firms in Asia and the consequences of such embeddedness on managerial and business processes, structures, and outcomes. Founded in 1958, the Historical Journal publishes on all aspects of history since 1500, providing a forum for younger scholars making a distinguished debut as well as publishing the work of historians with an international reputation. Contributions are aimed both at specialists and non-specialists.

The Asian Development Review is a journal of the Asian Development Bank and the Asian Development Bank Institute. It publishes research on economic and development issues relevant to the Asia and Pacific region. The goal of the Asian Economic Policy Review is to become an intellectual voice on the current issues of international economics and economic policy, based on comprehensive and in-depth analyses, with a primary focus on Asia. As such, articles in the Journal will not be purely academic research or political commentaries. Instead, stress will be placed on identifying key issues at the time - spanning international trade, international finance, the environment, energy, the integration of regional economies and other issues - in order to furnish ideas and proposals to contribute positively to the policy debate in the region. Although the principal focus is economic policy issues, when necessary and relevant, international relations papers will also be included.

Asian Education and Development Studies (AEDS) is concerned with education research in its broadest sense. The journal is interested in comparative studies that lead to new insights and challenge orthodox theories when analysing education and development issues. Since its official launch in 2012, AEDS has become one of the key education policy and development studies journals with a strong focus on the role of education and development, policy and governance in Asia from international and comparative perspectives.

Asian Englishes seeks to publish the best papers dealing with various issues involved in the diffusion of English and its diversification in Asia and the Pacific. It aims to promote better understanding of the nature of English and the role which it plays in the linguistic repertoire of those who live and work in Asia, both intra- and internationally, and in spoken and written form. In the twenty-first century ethnic issues have assumed importance in many parts of the world. Until recently, questions of Asian ethnicity and identity have been treated in a balkanized fashion, with anthropologists, economists, historians, political scientists, sociologists and others publishing their studies in single-discipline journals. Asian Ethnicity provides a cross-disciplinary, international venue for the publication of well-researched articles about ethnic groups and ethnic relations in the half of the world where questions of ethnicity now loom largest. Asian Ethnicity covers any time period, although the greatest focus is expected to be on the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. In broad terms the geographical region of concern for the journal is bounded by Lake Baikal to the north, Japan to the east, Java to the south and the Caspian Sea to the west. Asian Ethnology seeks to deepen understanding and further the pursuit of knowledge about the peoples and cultures of Asia.
