CALLALOO, the premier African Diaspora literary journal, publishes original works by, and critical studies of, black writers worldwide. The design of industrial processes requires reliable thermodynamic data. CALPHAD (Computer Coupling of Phase Diagrams and Thermochemistry) aims to promote computational thermodynamics through development of models to represent thermodynamic properties for various phases which permit prediction of properties of multicomponent systems from those of binary and ternary subsystems, critical assessment of data and their incorporation into self-consistent databases, development of software to optimize and derive thermodynamic parameters and the development and use of databanks for calculations to improve understanding of various industrial and technological processes. This work is disseminated through the CALPHAD journal and its annual conference. The Cambridge International Law Journal (CILJ) succeeds the Cambridge Journal of International and Comparative Law (CJICL), which was established in 2011 at the University of Cambridge. CILJ is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal with a broad focus on international law. CILJ publishes in all areas of international law, including regional and transnational legal regimes, such as European Union Law. CILJ provides a platform for both young and well-established academics to publish outstanding research on cutting edge, highly topical international law issues alongside, and in dialogue, with each other. CILJ is well-served by an Academic Review Board made up of distinguished international law experts from around the world. The Cambridge Journal of Economics, founded in the traditions of Marx, Keynes, Kalecki, Joan Robinson and Kaldor, welcomes contributions from heterodox economics as well as other social science disciplines. Within this orientation the journal provides a focus for theoretical, applied, interdisciplinary, history of thought and methodological work, with strong emphasis on realistic analysis, the development of critical perspectives, the provision and use of empirical evidence, and the construction of policy. The Editors welcome submissions in this spirit on economic and social issues including, but not only, unemployment, inflation, the organisation of production, the distribution of the social product, class conflict, economic underdevelopment, globalisation and international economic integration, changing forms and boundaries of markets and planning, and uneven development and instability in the world economy.

Cambridge Journal of Regions, Economy and Society publishes multi-disciplinary international research on the spatial dimensions of contemporary socio-economic-political change. The Cambridge Review of International Affairs publishes excellent and innovative scholarship on international affairs, particularly in the fields of international relations, international law and international political economy. It is committed to diversity of approach and method and encourages the submission of multi- and inter-disciplinary academic contributions from academics and policymakers. Scholarly debate is promoted through the Cambridge Review of International Affairs' main format of thematic sections of about four or five articles debating theoretical, empirical and/or methodological questions, as well as its book review forums and responses. The journal also carries one special issue each year. The submission of articles from panels, workshops, etc for joint publication is encouraged (all articles will be individually peer reviewed and evaluated).Peer ReviewAll articles in this journal have undergone rigorous peer review. They are reviewed by at least three and usually around five reviewers. In the first round of peer reviewing, a majority of reviewers must recommend at least publication with revisions for authors to be invited to resubmit their revised papers. In the second round, a majority of the original peer reviewers must recommend publication of the paper as it stands. The Editors maintain final discretion over publication of all papers.

Published since 1963, this monthly journal features articles, notes, and discussions related to new developments in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, and applied sciences. The topics of papers written by researchers and engineers/scientists active in industry include soil and rock mechanics, material properties and fundamental behaviour, site characterization, foundations, excavations, tunnels, dams and embankments, slopes, landslides, geological and rock engineering, ground improvement, hydrogeology and contaminant hydrogeology, geochemistry, waste management, geosynthetics, offshore engineering, ice, frozen ground and northern engineering, risk and reliability applications, and physical and numerical modelling. Contributions that have practical relevance are preferred, including case records. Purely theoretical contributions are not generally published unless they are on a topic of special interest (like unsaturated soil mechanics or cold regions geotechnics) or they have direct practical value.

The Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences (CJAS) is a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, international quarterly that publishes manuscripts with a strong theoretical foundation. The Canadian Journal of Animal Science is an international peer-reviewed journal edited by the Canadian Society of Animal Science.The Journal publishes original research on all aspects of domestic livestock and their by-products. It includes sections on: breeding and genetics; cellular and molecular biology; growth and development; meat science; modelling animal systems; physiology and endocrinology; ruminant nutrition; non-ruminant nutrition; and welfare, behaviour and management.Reviews, letters to the editor, abstracts of technical papers presented at the annual meeting of the Canadian Society of Animal Science and conference proceedings may also be published, subject to the approval of the Editor. The Canadian Journal of Cardiology (CJC) is the official journal of the Canadian Cardiovascular Society (CCS). The CJC is a vehicle for the international dissemination of new knowledge in cardiology and cardiovascular science, particularly serving as the major venue for Canadian cardiovascular medicine.The CJC publishes original reports of clinical and basic research relevant to cardiovascular medicine, as well as editorials, review articles, and case reports. Papers on health outcomes, policy research, ethics, medical history, and political issues affecting practice, as well as letters to the editor, are welcomed. The CJC accepts and publishes articles in the English language only. Manuscripts are received with the understanding that they are submitted solely to the Canadian Journal of Cardiology and that none of the material contained in the manuscript has been published previously or is under consideration for publication elsewhere, with the exception of abstracts.
