Clinical Psychologist is the journal of the Australian Psychological Society's College of Clinical Psychologists. The journal covers a range of topics of broad general relevance to psychologists working in clinical and health settings, including assessment and treatment of psychopathology. The aim is to publish high quality peer-reviewed articles within this broad scope. Clinical Psychologist publishes state of the art reviews, research papers, brief reports, and clinical case studies. The journal occasionally publishes special issues, guest edited by specialists, devoted to a single topic.
Clinical Psychology & Psychotherapy aims to keep clinical psychologists and psychotherapists up to date with new developments in their fields. The Journal will provide an integrative impetus both between theory and practice and between different orientations within clinical psychology and psychotherapy. Clinical Psychology & Psychotherapy will be a forum in which practitioners can present their wealth of expertise and innovations in order to make these available to a wider audience. Equally, the Journal will contain reports from researchers who want to address a larger clinical audience with clinically relevant issues and clinically valid research. Clinical Psychology Review publishes substantive reviews of topics germane to clinical psychology. Papers cover diverse issues including: psychopathology, psychotherapy, behavior therapy, cognition and cognitive therapies, behavioral medicine, community mental health, assessment, and child development. Papers should be cutting edge and advance the science and/or practice of clinical psychology.Reviews on other topics, such as psychophysiology, learning therapy, experimental psychopathology, and social psychology often appear if they have a clear relationship to research or practice in clinical psychology. Integrative literature reviews and summary reports of innovative ongoing clinical research programs are also sometimes published.
